First Sunset
Before Calypso was christened,
I took her out for a short sail.
I was rewarded by a beautiful
sunset.
The sea is calling me

The image of Calypso has been
in my mind's eye for decades.

I now realize my dream.
Calypso
Yup, I did it! I bought myself a sailboat. It's a 1979 Cal 2-27. That's a 27 foot
sloop (1 mast). It has standing headroom (for me), an inboard diesel, a
private head. Best of all, I have a slip in Santa Cruz.

When I purchased the boat, I changed her name to
Calypso
